Lasagna is a type of pasta dish that originated in Italy. It consists of thin sheets of pasta that are layered with cheese, meat, vegetables, and sauce. There are many variations of lasagna depending on the region and the preference of the cook.
Some of the most popular types of lasagna are:
Lasagna al forno: The most common type of lasagna in many countries. It’s made with ragu (meat sauce), bechamel (white sauce), and cheese.
Lasagna alla bolognese: A traditional lasagna from Bologna. It’s made with ragu, bechamel, and Parmesan cheese.
Lasagna napoletana: A lasagna from Naples. It’s made with ragu, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and sausage.
Lasagna verde: A lasagna with spinach pasta sheets. It’s usually made with ragu and bechamel.
Lasagna bianca: A lasagna with white sauce only. It’s usually made with chicken, mushrooms, and cheese.

The easy lasagna recipe that I’m going to share with you today is a simple and easy version that anyone can make at home. It uses two different sauces: a creamy white sauce and a rich tomato sauce. This way you get the best of both worlds and a lot of flavor in every bite.
This lasagna is also loaded with cheese (mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmesan), meat (ground beef), and vegetables (spinach and mushrooms). You can use any kind of cheese, meat, and vegetables that you like, but I recommend using these ones because they go well together.
You can also use store-bought or homemade pasta sheets, depending on your preference. I like to use store-bought ones because they are convenient and easy to use. You don’t even need to boil them before assembling the lasagna. Just soak them in hot water for a few minutes until they are soft and pliable.
This lasagna is easy to make and doesn’t require a lot of prep work. You can make the sauces ahead of time and store them in the fridge until you’re ready to assemble the lasagna. You can also freeze the assembled lasagna before baking it and bake it later when you need it. It’s a great dish to make ahead and enjoy later.
You can serve this lasagna as a main course or as a part of a larger meal. Here are some ideas for what to serve with lasagna:
Salad: A fresh green salad is always a good idea to balance out the richness of the lasagna. You can make a simple salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and your favorite dressing.
Bread: A crusty bread is great for soaking up the sauce and cheese from the lasagna. You can serve plain bread or garlic bread for extra flavor.
Wine: A glass of wine is a classic accompaniment for any Italian dish. You can choose a red wine or a white wine depending on your taste and mood.
Dessert: A sweet treat is always welcome after a hearty meal like lasagna. You can serve something light and refreshing like fruit salad or sorbet or something decadent and indulgent like tiramisu or cheesecake.
